I like being able to report 30cm of fresh snowfall in a morning.

After a busy weekend in Nozawa here we are back on a Monday morning.

Another 25cm being reported since yesterday afternoon by the resort and there would have been more during the day too.

There's a bit of a break in the snow right now at base but it is very likely temporary.

Just been out doing some snow shovelling. Good exercise. No sexy shiny snow blower machine for me.

Today is going to be a fine day (in a different way to how yesterday was also fine!)

Snow during the day yesterday with up to 9cm being reported by the resort yesterday evening and there has been a slight dusting overnight (and a couple of cm on the top slopes).

I think I have caught something from my Hakuba Now reporting friend. Bad cold, bad condition, groggy.

Good news this morning with up to 30cm of fresh snow being reported by the resort and me measuring over 20cm on the ground.

I am kind of confused a bit this morning because I thought we were expecting snow today.

There might be a few sore heads in Nozawa this morning after the main event of the Fire Festival last night.

Anyone else get to enjoy yesterday? I had a blast. Glad I wrapped up well, felt cold out there.
