New snowfall at base 10cm
Snowfall at base this season 489cm
Posted on Wednesday 23rd January 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.
Snow during the day yesterday with up to 9cm being reported by the resort yesterday evening and there has been a slight dusting overnight (and a couple of cm on the top slopes).
The sun is shining through some clouds on upper areas right now and the forecast tells us to expect a mix of cloud and sun during the day today as well as mild conditions this afternoon. It should be snowing once again though overnight and through tomorrow.
An early start this morning to enjoy the sun sounds good to me.
