There might be a few sore heads in Nozawa this morning after the main event of the Fire Festival last night.
After a spell of no fresh, there is some fresh snow this morning. Not much with the resort reporting 5cm up on the top areas, but it is continuing to come down and we can expect some more this morning and then all being well a decent amount tomorrow night too. Oh yes and on Sunday. So regular snowfall is just ahead of us which is great to see.
The resort does not seem to be recording any snowfall this morning but I definitely just cleared at least a few cm up outside my place just before.
Visibility looking limited on the mountain this morning but I doubt people will be too worried about that. Snow is what we want most.
