Today winter is back, with over 30cm of fresh snow and colder temperatures.

A bit more snow through the day yesterday to add 16cm more on top of yesterday's 25.

Seki Onsen wins the prediction award for the day. Okay, 25cm of fresh is not super heavy, but it is the best one-day since February 28.

It's shaping up to almost be a nice first official day of spring in Myoko.

About the time I finished yesterday's report - telling you it was calm in Myoko - the winds came up, the snow kept on falling, and it became quite a different day.

It snowed pretty hard for a moment last night - big flakes, good quantity. Normal Myoko snowfall, but not something we've seen a lot of this year.
