Snowfall at base this season 799cm

It snowed pretty hard for a moment last night - big flakes, good quantity. Normal Myoko snowfall, but not something we've seen a lot of this year.
Earlier this morning there wasn't a lot on the ground, but in the last few hours some of the best snowfall this season fell for a short while. It's tapered off at the moment, but it was falling at a rate of a couple of centimeters per hour, with 10cm of new up to now. I almost feel like I'll jinx it with this positive prattling, but it's really great to see. The temperature, too, is holding at -1°C at base, which is a first in a long time.
In fact, I think the accumulation so far actually came after a lot of the resorts made their early-morning reporting, so I'll step out on that limb and predict you'll find some nice fresh out there, and likely more up high.
