Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 819cm

Posted on Friday 20th March 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

It's shaping up to almost be a nice first official day of spring in Myoko.

It was pretty gray earlier, with a tiny bit of snow falling and some fog here and there.

It's getting sunnier now, the wind is calm and the temperatures are mild. It would be great to be cold and have more snow falling, but at this late part of the season, it might as well be spring skiing on a pleasant day.
