It was a very busy day out on most of the slopes in the valley yesterday.

It clouded over a fair bit yesterday during the day, especially in the afternoon, with the sun making it's last appearance of the day around mid-afternoon.

More snow to report this Sunday morning in Hakuba.

Mostly cloudy and foggy up on the mountains yesterday, light snow falling at times, though some sunny spells in the village and glimpses of the sun depending where you were later in the afternoon.

By lunchtime yesterday it had become more grey than blue as it clouded over, though visibility remained decent on the resorts.

And yes... more snow. 10cm or so here in the valley, resorts reporting 10-30cm or so again on lower/upper slopes.

A very nice surprise this morning with more of a snow haul than we were perhaps expecting in Hakuba.

Clouds remain over Hakuba this morning, but the clouds are trying to give us more snow rather than just sitting there like they were yesterday.

I can see the sky! After those few crazy days of snow, this morning there's some blue sky to see and the sun is showing up.

How much snow do we want? Always more, of course, but for now here's the headlines that we have this morning for snowfall on upper slopes...

Snow snow snow! Lots of it, oh yes.

More snow since the report yesterday.... Happo have added 20cm to their upper slopes, Goryu reporting 10cm and Hakuba 47 reporting 15cm up top.

I'll start off with the headlines...

Bad weather yesterday with lifts actually stopping because of it, with Happo completely closed from lunchtime.
