Lots of snowfall since my report yesterday and some varying numbers.

More snow to report - with around 10cm at base areas and 15cm higher up (though Tsugaike are reporting 38cm).

There has been a lot to check and I have been making some adjustments to the page this morning.

Hakuba Happo-one will be opening tomorrow morning.

Things remain generally unchanged this morning... Tsugaike has that one run open (since yesterday) as everywhere else waits for snow.

We're still on stand-by as we wait for more snow and for the season to get going.

Not a whole lot of news as we wait for snowfall.

Some of you were probably beginning to think that there wouldn't be any Hakuba Now reports this season.

Today is going to be the last day of the season here in Hakuba.

It's snowing. (Of course it is!)

So after that big news yesterday, Tsugaike Kogen is also now closed and we are left with just Hakuba 47 and Hakuba Goryu remaining open in the area.

Out the sun is! It is a lovely morning. Less cloud than yesterday morning but we are on for another fine spring day.

The snow around base and lower areas has been noticeably disappearing with spring warmth taking hold yesterday.

Clear blue skies this morning with warm temperatures forecast - and more of that tomorrow too, perhaps a bit of cloud.
