It's Monday morning so hello and welcome to a new week from here in Hakuba.

The 2020-2021 season has ended.

After a fine day of weather yesterday - bright and warm - it's a cloudy start to this last day of the Golden Week holidays.

It's much nicer this morning. Blue skies and some sunshine!

We got some cloud in the middle of the day yesterday but it remained bright and sunny and we finished off with clear blue skies before it got dark.

After some fine blue skies during the day yesterday, this morning there is a mix of blue sky and cloud.

We enjoyed beautiful blue clear skies through the day yesterday. What a wonderful day to be outside and enjoying nature.

Ski areas are reporting some modest snowfall on the mountains this morning, which goes a long way to help us forget that rain thing.
