New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 420cm

Posted on Friday 16th April 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Hakuba.

After some fine blue skies during the day yesterday, this morning there is a mix of blue sky and cloud. It's a bit windy but lifts look like there's spinning as they should.

Hakuba 47 reporting that their snow making team have been working hard to keep things open. I wonder if involved a snow dance. That lower area is looking increasingly bare.. but still skiable.

Tomorrow? Rain, I'm afraid. But on Sunday there are signs of the chance of snow in higher elevations which is interesting...
