Yesterday was a windy one. But since then there are some really good fresh snowfall numbers to report to you this morning.

After that wet kind of day yesterday with some strong winds overnight there is good news this morning.

Clouds are clearing this morning.

Hello and good morning from Hakuba. And I have more good news.

I was out of town yesterday but have come back to some fresh snow on the ground and reports of 20-35cm of fresh snow being reported by the ski areas on upper areas.

Lots of cloud lingering still and light snow falling. And a fresh layer of snow with up to around 20cm being reported by ski areas. Nice.

This morning the ski areas are reporting different amounts of fresh snowfall, with Happo-one up to 15-20cm on their upper areas being the most.

8cm observed snowfall today.

It was windy overnight. And this morning we are experiencing light rain > light snow.

It's one of those blue sky beauties! Beautiful blue skies and my fave mountain backdrop.

Rather windy conditions prevailing on the mountains early today and it is affecting some lifts.
