New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 420cm

Posted on Friday 2nd April 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Hakuba.

It's blue skies again this morning. They feel a bit more subdued and hazy than yesterday, but it is similarly bright and sunny. Forecasts seem to be predicting more cloudy skies later in the day, but more sun again during the day tomorrow. Should be warm too with temperatures rising to somewhere between 15-20C in the village tomorrow.

Sunday through Tuesday next week has a lot of cloud (and rain at times) lined up there on forecasts, though they have been changing around since yesterday so may once again change.

Kashimayari was planning on being open until Sunday 4th April, but unfortunately due to snow melt they couldn't manage that -- yesterday was the last day for that ski area and it is now closed.

Cortina still plans to be open until Sunday.
