It's another of those stunning bluebird days in Hakuba. Lucky people who are here at the moment.

It's windy out on them there mountains this morning! And cold too, down to a chilly -7 even in the village.

The snow continued yesterday and this morning resorts around the valley are reporting up to 35cm of new snowfall since yesterday.

Light powder snow. How does that sound? There has been around 10-15cm of it fall in the village overnight and up to 30cm being reported from the mountains.

Yesterday it was snowing through the day on the mountains and Hakuba has dry, light snow covering the trails at present. It is snowing this morning as well with about 2-3 cm of fresh snow around the village.

Well yesterday was... not the best day of the season so far. The rain didn't let up until later on giving us some pretty spring like conditions out there.

Lots of lovely fresh snow to report from Hakuba this morning.

Beautiful blue skies all around contrasting with the white of the snow on the mountains make for some stunning scenery this morning.

This morning in the village we have 3-5cm of fresh snow on the ground and the temperature is around -5C degrees.

Some great conditions being reported from yesterday, especially from Otari where they got a whole lot of snow as mentioned in the report yesterday.

Overcast skies with a temperature of around -2C degrees and a light north westerly breeze 1m/s.

Good morning from a snowy Hakuba, with about 15cm on the ground to report. Hurray!

It's a cloudy start to the day and a few cm, up to 5cm or so, around the village with resorts report up to 20cm of snow on upper slopes since yesterday.

No new snow to report from Hakuba this morning. In the alpine country beyond the ski resorts snowfall was reported to be minimal at around 1cm.
