This morning in the village we have 3-5cm of fresh snow on the ground and the temperature is around -5C degrees.
Over the village right now we have clouds but the sun making appearances from time to time as well and some blue sky as well. Snow showers on the mountains. Very mixed. Variable visibility this morning as well with some places looking like it's pretty good and in others it's thick fog/cloud...
Strong winds are affecting lift operations around the valley in Hakuba and Otari this morning and we can probably expect that to continue for the day.
Weather patterns seem unpredictable today - be prepared for last minute changes by the resorts.
From tomorrow the forecast says clearer and milder conditions for a few days.
