A wind front arrived early this morning and it is gusting strongly around the town.

A snowstorm set in around 6pm last night and was quite intense, however waking up this morning the amount of new snow was not as much as I expected.

There has been a snowstorm overnight with moderate snowfall and strong winds. On the ground there is 14cm of fresh snow in the Kitanomine village.

It is snowing light to moderately at the moment and there is 10cm of new snow in the Kitanomine village.

It is a nice morning. Mainly cloudy but the cloud layer looks thin and is letting through plenty of light.

Looking above it is partly cloudy with some big areas of blue sky. Sometime soon the sun will be hitting the village to warm us up a bit as well.

It has been pretty windy in Furano over the last couple of days.

It is a bit drab looking outside compared to the beautiful clear days earlier in the week.

There is a bit of a breeze out there this morning which may be a bit strong at certain places on the resort.

It is a very crisp Furano morning that has brought cold temperatures and clear skies.

Conditions will be fantastic today on and off the trails with a fresh 15cm of new snow overnight.

It is snowing very lightly but last night there was a decent amount of snowfall that has accumulated to 13cm on the ground.

Looks like great weather is with us here in Furano to start off the day. It is nice and calm with no wind in the village.

Yesterday afternoon and evening there was a significant snow front come through and it has deposited 11cm of powder at village level.
