New snowfall at base 10cm
Snowfall at base this season 409cm
Posted on Tuesday 29th January 2019 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
A snowstorm set in around 6pm last night and was quite intense, however waking up this morning the amount of new snow was not as much as I expected. Still 10cm is pretty good, and you can safely double that amount at the top of the resort. The mountain is once again in good condition after these recent snowfalls, and there are plenty of powder areas to explore. The day has turned out very nice, with the morning cloud rising to reveal sun and blue sky. The wind is blowing moderately.
