It is a beautiful morning in Furano. The sky is clear and the sun is beaming down on the ski area.

There was 8cm of fresh snow this morning and a further 4cm feel in the afternoon.

It is a chilly -10c to start the day and it will warm to a high of -7c.

It is a nice calm morning with nothing in the way of wind.

Winds have been fairly significant since yesterday late afternoon and on mountain expect moderate to strong gusts.

There has been a good dump of 20cm of new snow since yesterday.

Yesterday was a tropical blip with +3c temperatures warming things up and bringing with it a period of moderate rain.
