Welcome to the first report of 2021.

With a sprinkling of people in town for the holidays celebrations were reasonably subdued, but we still got the midnight fireworks display to welcome in the new year.

After a very clear calm day yesterday, snow has returned.

There is a layer of 5cm of fresh and it is currently snowing very lightly. With it comes a light wind and low cloud, so visibility isn't the greatest on the upper half of the mountain.

The temperature is -14c and will rise to a high of -12c.
