After the strong winds yesterday conditions are calm this morning.

Strong winds arrived last night and are still pounding the resort this morning.

At base level the winds are very strong and this has meant the resort will not operate the Kitanomine Gondola.

It is a very nice morning with perfect blue sky all around.

After mechanical issues yesterday the Kitanomine Gondola will be back in operation today.

It is -6c this morning and will be a pretty warm day with the high expected to hit -1c.

There has been another light layer of fresh snow since yesterdays report that amounts to 4cm.

It is good too see some fresh snow again with 5cm on the ground this morning.

A further 9cm of new snow was received yesterday.

The Link Lift is closed today due to mechanical failure.

It is good to see more snow hit the resort and this morning I have measure 7cm at base level.

It is another very clear morning in Furano. There may be a snow front come through around midday, so best to get out and enjoy the blue sky early on.
