Posted on Wednesday 13th January 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
It is good to see more snow hit the resort and this morning I have measure 7cm at base level.
Warm temperatures have arrived with the snow and certainly at town level the snow is wet and heavy, and not the usual light central Hokkaido powder.
It is -3c at the moment and heading up to a high of 0c.
Visibility is limited at higher elevations with low cloud and light snow. The lower mountain is okay for visibility.
