It is a chilly -10c to start the day and it will warm to a high of -7c.
There is 5cm of new snow since yesterday's report. It is not snowing at the moment but further snow is expected during the day and then daily through until Sunday.
The day is clear with high cloud cover. It looked like a few more rolled into town for their winter ski holiday yesterday but don't expect any lift queues just yet.
All lifts are expected to operate except for Kitanomine Snow Escalator - so if you are a true beginner you'll need to head to the Furano Zone.
