Tsugaike Mountain Resort is reporting 'about 40cm' of snow since last night. Impressive.

We had some snowfall overnight but it is a very mild morning (for us anyway). The temperature is -1C. The snow is a bit slushy.

I can report 1cm this morning. But it's an 'and counting' kind of situation, as it is snowing quite nicely now.

So we are into the last few days of the year now and we have lovely weather this morning. The sun is out and we have clear blue skies.

A few flurries of snow last night but nothing really significant.

Sunny and clear again; getting ready for more snow soon (watching those snowpack numbers going down again, at least for our more honest/reliably reporting resorts).

A beautiful sunny day in Myoko as we get closer to the end of the year. We don’t want too many of these nice days, of course, because we still need more snow on the ground.

We had a bit of a storm thing going on yesterday with wind and snow.

It's snowing again, and all is right with the world...at least more than it was yesterday. It does the heart good to see it coming down.
