Cloud with (very) light snow on and off this morning and more due over the coming days.

The forecast got it quite wrong for a period of yesterday when the skies cleared and we got some bright blue skies for a while.

Some promising snow yesterday afternoon, but alas it stopped overnight.

I have 6cm of snowfall to report since yesterday.

The puzzling kind of weather continues right through until the last day of the year!

We have another of those days when there appears to have been some pretty good snowfall at higher elevations, as reported by the ski areas, but not really much at all down at base.
