Good morning from Nozawa.
It's not great this morning with drizzly rain and a foggy and murky kind of feel to early morning proceedings. The ski area reports snow at the top of the mountain, so it sounds like the place to be (though no cm of fresh snow is being reported).
Anyway, not to fear!
That snow that has been approaching on the forecasts seems set to be with us soon, so hopefully by tomorrow I'll have at least the start of some exciting news to report.
A very snowy New Years Eve and New Years Day? Sounds good!
Lifts open 30 minutes early today and tomorrow. Lots of people around.
