A beautiful sunny day in Myoko as we get closer to the end of the year. We don’t want too many of these nice days, of course, because we still need more snow on the ground. A good start, but just the beginning.
Got out for snowshoeing yesterday, which was great on the trail, but tough to get out into the woods. There is so much brush that you really can’t move much without winding around through the trees and pushing small trees out of the way. Pretty tired legs, too, so this is a lazy Sunday report.
Looks like an even warmer day tomorrow, then maybe some ongoing snow after that? Hope so—the main thing for both resort skiing and the backcountry is some good, continuous snowfall.
