Clouds arrived yesterday in the afternoon after that clear start, and by evening it was raining and there was some strong noisy wind blowing about outside. Quite hard at times. No new snow to report - dustings up top though I hear - and I am glad to say that the drama from the last part of yesterday has cleared up and we start today with more sunny, blue skies

The sun was out all of yesterday making for a very fine spring day outside. It didn't get as cold overnight last night as the previous night, but the day has started much the same with the sun out and shining down on us.

Very light snow on and off in the morning yesterday though easing off later on. It got really cold last night actually but has been warming up this morning and we are expecting temps to rise to ab out 7 or 8 degrees today.

Not a huge amount, but snow all the same. And definitely better than the rain that was falling last night. Yesterday got really warm - even up to around 16 degrees!

Late report today. Yesterday was a fine one right through. This morning started off not quite as clear and has gradually got move overcast as the day has moved on. It's mostly grey skies now, mid afternoon.

An early report today and a rather easy one. Yesterday the snowfall eased off late in the morning and by darkness arrived there was quite a lot of clear sky above the region.

Yesterday the report was updated to say it had started raining. It was snowing by the afternoon, though not the kind of snow that leaves new cm on the ground. As expected it quickly got colder as the day went on and this morning not only is it rather cold, but we also have snow on the ground and the snow is still falling!

Things were calmer earlier on, but in the last hour or so some very noisy winds have whipped up and it's blowing a bit of a gale outside here in Minamiuonuma. I was in Yuzawa just earlier and it wasn't as windy but the forecast is for the warmth of the early morning to make way for wind and much colder conditions during the day.

Late last night there was the sound of heavy rain and strong winds outside and a temperature of +7C as of midnight. Didn't sound like a particularly good way to start the weekend!

Yesterday turned out to be a rather hazy day, but definitely warm. Very spring-like. The skies are a bit clearer and blue-er this morning, and it's another warm start to the day.... about +7C now at 9am with a high of above 10C forecast for the early afternoon today.

It warmed up to about 11 degrees in town yesterday so a fair bit of snow melt going on. The sun was out for most of the day, though it got more overcast as the day went on after the blue start to the day. This morning starts off similarly. It's already about 7C and cloudy/overcast and it might get warmer still today.

Yesterday there was very light snow falling from time to time. Very light indeed - it was almost not snowing, it was that light. If you get my meaning!

Sorry for the late report, posted it earlier but for some reason it did not appear online and so here we go again! We have actually had some wet snow falling here today, though very lazily not the kind that will bring us any "new snowfall" to report.

Snow falling for most of yesterday though it didn't add up to much in terms of cm on the ground, perhaps a few cm on the slopes.
