It was snowing quite heavily at times yesterday, which was interesting... I heard a few people say 'could have done with more of this in January'!

Everywhere is looking white once again with snow down to town level - I just measured 10cm - and both Kagura and Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 20cm of snowfall on the mountain.

The clouds did move in yesterday morning and it started snowing - and actually quite heavily at times - but in the end we didn't really end up with much around town.

This morning Kagura are reporting 5cm of fresh snow and Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 10cm.

I wasn't out myself yesterday but my good friend spent a few hours over at Maiko Snow Resort and they said that it was actually rather busy. Interesting.

It is really good to see some fresh snow on the ground this morning.

I am happy to report fresh snowfall again this morning with a nice new layer of fresh snow on the ground.

Fresh snow, and snow falling from the skies - and due to continue through into early tomorrow morning, easing off as that timeline progresses.

We're really not catching many breaks with the weather this season, are we.

Yesterday was one of those pleasing winter days with quite cold conditions, snow falling for most of the day - and quite heavily at times.

After some wet conditions later on in the day, it was snowing by evening and overnight we have a fresh layer on the ground.

There has been a few spots of rain early morning but we are due a day of cloudy skies and temperatures just a little lower than yesterday - still mild.
