Good morning from Yuzawa.
This morning Kagura are reporting 5cm of fresh snow and Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 10cm.
Just a dusting really down below after some rain in the evening.
What about this snow then that has been on the forecasts in varying degrees? It is still there on the forecast for around the middle of the day today. Right now there is quite a lot of blue sky around so I'm not going to try to guess what might happen. I'll let you know.
From today the Southern Area of GALA Yuzawa is closed - other areas remain open - and less of the Naeba resort is available with just the top area of Hakkai-san now open. Individual info updated below.
The Tashiro Area of Kagura appears to be closed this morning.
