Things are still looking up. Some more snow yesterday.

Houston, we are looking good. After being closed yesterday due to wind, the resort is open today with even more new snow, so it's a double dipper day.

VERY windy today in Furano, so while the resort initially only opened Lift C down low near the New Prince, that only lasted an hour and they closed that as well.

Big Day. The moment of truth has arrived.

The fun continues with more snow falling yesterday and overnight.

As much as I'd like it to be otherwise, I do have a day job and responsibilities beyond those of keeping you informed of the Furano snow scene.

We are a-Rockin' & a-Rollin'. Mucho snow fell throughout the day yesterday.

I don't know what the conditions are up on top, but down in town the sidewalks are treacherous as heck with the recent melt/re-freeze.

We had some snow overnight, and more during the day.

What a difference a day can make! Yesterday the lovely green grass slopes of Kitanomine was a thing, and today they are completely covered in 8 cm of proper whiteness.

No good news to report, but then again no real bad news either.
