BEAUTIFUL day today here in Furano. While Sapporo, only 2 hours away, was getting slammed the last few days, we've been enjoying sunny, blue skies.

Locked into a Blue Sky No Storm mode, which makes for wonderfully beautiful days.

Cold, clear, beautiful, no significant new snow just a dusting. Should be good.

It's good. It be good. Another nice snowfall overnight, perhaps up to 30+ cm on top. It's dry. It's fwuffy. It's good.

After a few days of no snow, we had a nice top-off last night with 15 cm at the base, and a bit more on top. It's dry and fwuffy.

Well, the thermometer says it's pretty cold, but it sure doesn't feel like it.

It's a classic Furano powder day!! 23 cm at the base and a whopping 75 cm on top. Hooo-eee!! It's light. It's fluffy! It's Furano at its best.

Cloudy, satisfactory visibility, nice and cold, 4 cm of snow yesterday afternoon, allegedly 25 cm at the top. Woo-hoo!

Unpleasant weather today with high winds.

Well, well, well. We've got ourselves a bit of a mess today. We got 12 cm of new snow since yesterday.

Well, a bit of snow overnight. Supposed to start snowing after lunch, but so is the wind, so I wouldn't be surprised if the delicate Gondola closes.

Whiff of snow last night. Quite a heavy overcast. Viz down to 500 m, but that 500 m is quite clear, so that's all I need.
