There is not too much to report this morning. Yesterday temperatures stayed borderline and were hovering around 0c in the middle of the day.

The warm spell came to an end yesterday morning and gave way to cold temperatures and snow flurries.

It is a very pleasant morning in Furano with clear conditions. Above is a mix of cloud and blue sky, and the morning sun is coming down warming the town nicely.

It is a snowy day again with a light flurry coming down and so far about 1cm accumulation on the ground.

The snow started last night and came down heavily through until morning.

The snow flurries continued through the day yesterday with no accumulation on the ground until early evening.

Furano Ski Area did a great job of getting the ski area open as planned yesterday on 24 November.

Yesterday there was some light snow falling through the day but it didn't really accumulate on the ground.

The weather definitely turned to winter mode today. It snowed throughout the day and in Kitanomine village the snow on the ground peaked at around 7cm accumulation.

All good things come to and end and today is the end of the season for Furano Ski Area.

It is a nice warm spring day with the temperature hovering around 13c.

After getting used to the spring weather, this morning is a throw back to winter.

What a contrast today is to the recent gloomy weather. We have brilliant blue sky sitting over the resort with only a couple of clouds showing.
