More snow. And another 30cm or so being reported by the resort on the top areas, taking the Yamabiko number close to 7m for the season.


This morning it's kind of just cloudy and that is what the forecasts seem to be saying for us today, with the chance of some light snow at times.


Similar is forecast for tomorrow.


Fresh snowfall recorded by the resort (since yesterday morning):

- Yamabiko (1407m): 29cm

- Uenotaira (1230m): 29cm

- Hikage (660m): 10cm

- Nagasaka (615m): 19cm

- Karasawa (563m): 5cm


Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):


- Yamabiko (1407m): 275cm

- Uenotaira (1230m): 235cm

- Hikage (660m): 195cm

- Nagasaka (615m): 190cm

- Karasawa (563m): 150cm

- The following lifts are normally rested on weekdays:

- Utopia pair, Challenge pair, Yunomine pair and Mizunashi triple

- The Shinyu pair lift will be closed for the remainder of the season due to obstruction by fallen tree
