After some unappealing wet and wind yesterday, we have a kind of a dusting and I am just about able to justify the 1cm in this report.


The ski area is reporting 5cm up on Uenotaira.


It seems to be snowing higher up on the mountain and it might do so down at base too during the day today. In fact, just as I write this there is some light snow starting up again.


We do expect snow into tomorrow.


Fresh snowfall since yesterday afternoon as reported by the ski area:

Yamabiko: 2cm

Uenotaira: 5cm

Hikage: 1cm

Nagasaka: 1cm

Karasawa: 0cm


Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):

Yamabiko: 360cm

Uenotaira: 315cm

Hikage: 250cm

Nagasaka: 250cm

Karasawa: 175cm


Lifts & courses:

All courses open apart from Grand Prix and Kurokura

The Utopia pair lift and Challenge pair lift are normally closed on weekdays


Night skiing:

Scheduled for every Saturday until 22nd March 2025 in the Nagasaka area
