Another very pleasing amount of fresh snow since yesterday, with the larger part of it coming overnight, even though it was snowing yesterday.


There's even a few breaks in the clouds as I write this.


We might have a few more days of clearer skies but in the last three days of the year more snow is due. And it might be major...


Fresh snowfall recorded by the resort (since yesterday morning):

- Yamabiko (1407m): 42cm

- Uenotaira (1230m): 37cm

- Hikage (660m): 35cm

- Nagasaka (615m): 35cm

- Karasawa (563m): 15cm


Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):


- Yamabiko (1407m): 210cm

- Uenotaira (1230m): 195cm

- Hikage (660m): 170cm

- Nagasaka (615m): 155cm

- Karasawa (563m): 120cm
