Ahh, fresh snow! Don't you just love it.
The ski area is reporting 20-25cm of snow across the mountain this morning and I have measured 21cm myself.
As I write this, there is actually a bit of blue sky to see and the sun is trying to break through the cloud. Visibility seems fairly decent apart from the summit. We do however expect light snow through the day. Wind doesn't seem to be affecting lift operations.
Tomorrow is due to be cloudy.
Tuesday and Wednesday are looking very promising still. Some proper Nozawa-like consistent heavy snow. Let it be!
In the meantime, there should be some nice conditions to discover this morning.
