Before 4pm yesterday the ski area was reporting 10-11cm of snow on upper areas and 6cm around base areas; just a few more cm this morning up top and a dusting below.


It is lovely morning with some cloud but lots of clear sky too. A very cold start to the day too.


Maybe there will be more sun during tomorrow too. And then... super snow on Tuesday?

Fresh snowfall reported by the ski area at 7am (since yesterday morning):

- Yamabiko: 14cm

- Uenotaira: 16cm

- Hikage: 7cm

- Nagasaka: 7cm

- Karasawa: 0cm


Official snow depth numbers (reported by the ski area):

- Yamabiko: 175cm

- Uenotaira: 140cm

- Hikage: 105cm

- Nagasaka: 90cm

- Karasawa: 55cm


All lifts now normally operating except these lifts:

- None, all open!


All courses are now open except the following:

- Mukobayashi

- Hachiman

- Challenge 39

- Kandahar (restrictions)

- Grand Prix

- Kurokura
