Morning folks. And what a great morning it is too.
Some people may well accuse me of not being excited enough the other week in between all that rain and lower slopes that were barely covered in snow.
Well, folks, I save my genuine excitement for times like this.
When it's dumping with huge amount of snow across the mountain. This... is Nozawa!
The resort itself is reporting 50+cm of fresh snowfall top to bottom this morning (since yesterday morning) and I can confirm as much at base. And the snow is still falling and likely to continue (heavily at times) until at least Monday and probably a bit beyond.
Whiteout conditions for the most part so not for everyone this morning. No doubt there are a lot of very excited people itching to get up there this morning. Try to keep it under control, everyone wants to see everyone come back down at the end of the day.

- Hikage: 50cm
- Nagasaka: 52cm
