Ah, I'm glad it's today and not yesterday. Because rather than wet stuff, it's a story of fresh snow this morning. Yey!

It's colder this morning after a very mild day yesterday; and thankfully less windy too.

It is a beautiful early morning in Nozawa.

It has been really cold yesterday and this morning too.. I was up there yesterday wishing I had an extra layer on.

Hello and welcome to Monday morning. And what better way to start the day than news of another 30cm or so of fresh snow.

No fresh snow overnight after it cleared up yesterday to leave us with some lovely blue skies this morning.

Fresh snow on the ground again with 5-10cm being reported by the resort and snow continuing to fall now though it's not expected to last the day.

After that fine day yesterday, it's back to snow this morning.

First of all, it was great to hear yesterday morning that the people who were missing at the resort were found and apparently unharmed after digging themselves into a snow hole for shelter.

Good morning from Nozawa, and the good news continues with another 50+cm of snow being reported by the resort up on the top Yamabiko area.

Some people may well accuse me of not being excited enough the other week in between all that rain and lower slopes that were barely covered in snow.
