Independent snow and weather reporting from the Myoko region of Niigata

New snowfall at base 30cm
Snowfall at base this season 728cm

Posted on Monday 10th February 2014 This is an archived report. The latest Myoko Now report can be found here.

A break in the snowfall today, with the sun shining and the hills sparklingly white. Nice.

The air temperature is still cold, although the sun is warm. In short, a really good day for being out there on this day before a holiday. Hopefully some of our domestic travelers took today off for a nice four-day weekend.

Looks like sun today and tomorrow before the snow starts up again later in the week.

(The 30cm added in the report = over the last few days).
