Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 3cm
Snowfall at base this season 262cm

Posted on Monday 18th January 2021 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Hakuba.

Kind of a fine/overcast feel to proceedings this morning. Ski areas are reporting between 0cm and 10cm overnight. (Curiously, Nakiyama Snowland is saying 12cm, and that is by the base of Happo...)

There is no snow falling early on but it should be snowing during the day today and through the night into tomorrow.
