cayote 0
What do you think the SNOW will be like at Kagura during Golden Week? Is it worth paying for the Shink from Tokyo? I'd like to camp AGAIN and do 3 half day sessions.

cayote 0
Anyone at Kagura recently or going on Sunday or Monday please let me know. Anyhow, it looks like reasonable camping weather. I'll probably try Tuesday and Wednesday. msrtrek@yahoo.com

Markie 0
I don't know about Kagura, but check out the crowds at Happo-One Happo One What a good showing despite the weather forecast for rain today!
grungy-gonads 54
Did anyone go over Golden Week? Looks like they're trying to stay open weekends until end of the month. There cant be much up there now surely.
Markie 0
That's what I admire about the Japanese, their tenacity. Even Arai closed last week and towards to end they had to work real hard with those snow groomers to move the remaining snow from all parts of the mountain to the pistes to keep it going. nagpants 1
And I wonder how much they lose by doing all of that.
