nekobi 0 Posted November 20, 2003 Share Posted November 20, 2003 interesting day to pick. it's the day after thanksgiving-- the "official" start of the christmas season. most people have the day off and everyone and their mother spends it shopping for xmas presents at the mall. when i was little it was the day i would go see santa at the big miller & rhodes dept store in richmond (bigger city than where i grew up.) i can see since it is a big shopping day to try to get people to buy nothing, but it would be easier to get participation on some random day. but i guess it would have less impact then.
