Not sure on the spelling of it, but over the last month or so I have started hearing this phrase all the time, everywhere I go. What does it mean and why I am I all of a sudden hearing it?

Perhaps I always heard it but didn't recognised it thus never noticed it. Now that I that recognise its rather irritating sound I seem to hear it 1000 times a day. It mainly seems to be men saying it.

Is this a suddenly trendy turn of phrase or have I only just noticed it? I wish it would stop.

I want "a! so nan desu ka" to make a come back. It was at less annoying to hear 1000 times in a row from the guy on the phone next to me.

Here are some happy emotions to ensure that my post does not seem miserable:

So the girls are probably saying.... "I like you, db, but just not in that way. Let's just be furenndo."
That's a little innacurate. Its something more like:
"I know its late, and I missed the last train 'ですけど...dbの家に泊まっていいの?'"
:p ;
