big-will 7
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/3580337.stm I want a Jet Pac. I remember first seeing one in Thunderball, so what the heck happened to that then? A "flying car" would be cool too.
enderzero 0
I have been making the case for jet-packs for a while as well. They had those thing decades ago. Shouldn't we have nice, safe, and economical every-man versions by now?

Ocean11 0
The jetpacks were superseded by the flying dustbin, no? This was developed by the US military and was almost exactly the same size and shape as one of the old round dustbins. You stand in it and lean in the direction you want to go, and it doesn't set your trousers on fire. It was said to be bloody amazing for hedge-hopping runs through the countryside. You would definitely want the Dr Who theme tune on your iPod for in-dustbin entertainment.

xxx 2
I'd prefer that teleporting system to a jetpac. Much quicker.
riobranco 0
If the Sinclair C5 had taken off, we'd be in a different world right now, I'll tell you.
