I have been to Tijuana before.

I'll stay in Cancun on the way back to Japan from Cuba. I would love to go to Chichen Itza or Uxmal. hmmmm, which to go...

chichen itza was cool, its a big place so you wouldnt wanna miss it if in the area. kinda like going to cairo and not seeing the pyramids.

 

if you go to the mexico city area, i strongly suggest you visit guanajuarto, and also the church that got covered by a volcano eruption. its located close to morelia and uruapan. you can see the map and photos on my website, that was the most amazing place i went to in mexico. almost no tourists go there, and its totally beautiful and rural. the little town has a 10th century church and feels like it still there in the 10th century.

Sounds like a cool place but have to ask about this. Central America wasn't settled by Europeans until late 1400's. When I think of church I assume you are talking about a Christian style church.
