In the usual waste of time 'hi, how you going' chit chat at the start of the meeting the Japanese guys were all complaining about 'our poor small island getting hit by so many typhoons'. One of the rather blunt and direct German guys spoke up with 'well ja, what ever, you know, try telling that to Mr and Mrs Jamaica, ja'. You have to imagine the accent.
