2pints-mate 0
Interesting one here folks http://www.guardian.co.uk/terrorism/story/0,12780,1327904,00.html Since September 11 Britain has been warned of the 'inevitability' of catastrophic terrorist attack. But has the danger been exaggerated? A major new TV documentary claims that the perceived threat is a politically driven fantasy - and al-Qaida a dark illusion. Ocean11 0
I heard the earthquake in Niigata had something to do with al-Qaeda. Is it true?

stripper on coke 0
sounds like a good watch. the politics of fear are VERY powerful. just take a look at the recent Australian elections, and the way the Howard govt kept going on and on about Australia being right in the al-Qaida cross-hairs. Generally speaking though, the majority of the public is just going to believe whatever gets shovelled down their throats.
