sounds like a good watch. the politics of fear are VERY powerful. just take a look at the recent Australian elections, and the way the Howard govt kept going on and on about Australia being right in the al-Qaida cross-hairs.

 

Generally speaking though, the majority of the public is just going to believe whatever gets shovelled down their throats.
