Long Trips....what do you do?

Recommended Posts

After reading this thread another question popped into my mind..

For those of you that have been on OR are planning to go on long trip(s) what do you do the whole time?

For me the answer is 95% of the time surfing ( everyday is possible minus travel days and maybe a few small days)

Other times are spent fishing & reading in my hammok! (& playing card games with other crew on flat days)

Sightseeing

Eating yummy local food

Talking with local people

Taking a walk

skiing if in a ski resort

kayaking or swimming if it's near lakes in summer

I am not sure if a hammok strong enough for my weight is available or not. \:o

I like to relax, dont really plan anything until I get there. I mean its always good to have a skeleton agenda but if you have plenty of time for everything, just take it day by day.

A lot better than those trips where you have to see and do everything within a few days, doesnt even feel like a vacation then, everything is so rushed.

gamera - you're Japanese correct? How much could you possibly weigh? Im 210 lbs and supported by hammocks almost 70% of the time that im in one lol.gif
