dave rave 0 Posted March 28, 2005 Share Posted March 28, 2005 every wed. here in osaka at sam & daves umeda is a swing dance lesson at 7:30 & then free dancing after that. Its fun very social, & a great way to workoutwithout while having fun during the off season. we are lucky to have one a really professional teacher from the states whos also a kick ass snowboarder. were especially needing some guys as they are the lead in the dance. there is usually quite a few girls that need partners. so get off your bums & dance Link to post Share on other sites

dave rave 0 Posted March 28, 2005 Author Share Posted March 28, 2005 swing dancin is also sometimes known as jive or jitterbug. its couple dancing that was originaly inveted in black harlem & trickled into mainstream america through famous dance hllas such as the savoy.although unlike the ballroom basterdised version its way more DIRTY & DOWN LOW. Its easy to learn a basic swing out & dancing cheek to cheek with a bunch of preety girls is always a good thing. there is also a good scene in tokyo klingklang Link to post Share on other sites
