Hakuba cortina averages more snow than even Niseko per year. besides, we all know that the figures given for Hokkaido need to be divided by at least 3 when comparing to Hakuba. It requires at least 3 times the amount of snow to pile up and stick on a steep slope than it does to make the same depth on a flat slope at a place like, say, Niseko.
